Vivian Jane Frank, 94, of Peoria passed away at 10:55 am Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Lutheran Hillside Village.

She was born November 19, 1923 in Trivoli, IL the daughter of Russell and Zepha Baggs DuMars. She married Paul Frank on November 1, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1981.

Vivian is survived by two sons Chris (Debi) Frank of Peoria, and Steve (Karen) Frank of Dunlap; seven grandchildren, Deidre (Brian) Kosier, Alli (Jeremy) Reppy, Amy (Mark) Kleinpeter, Christopher (Karen) Frank, Eric (Sneha) Wasson, Scott (Tera Backlund)Frank, and Kelsey (Josh) Fiddes; and...

Vivian Jane Frank, 94, of Peoria passed away at 10:55 am Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Lutheran Hillside Village.

She was born November 19, 1923 in Trivoli, IL the daughter of Russell and Zepha Baggs DuMars. She married Paul Frank on November 1, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1981.

Vivian is survived by two sons Chris (Debi) Frank of Peoria, and Steve (Karen) Frank of Dunlap; seven grandchildren, Deidre (Brian) Kosier, Alli (Jeremy) Reppy, Amy (Mark) Kleinpeter, Christopher (Karen) Frank, Eric (Sneha) Wasson, Scott (Tera Backlund)Frank, and Kelsey (Josh) Fiddes; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one daughter, Paula Wasson.

Though she was at home to raise her family, she was a part time realtor and tax preparer for many years. Vivian also volunteered at Proctor Hospital, Peoria Public Library, and the National Hot Air Balloon Museum in Indianola, Iowa.

Vivian loved to travel. She traveled throughout the United States and visited Taiwan, Japan, Africa, Bahamas, and Europe.

She loved to host her family while living in Iowa for the National Hot Air Balloon Championships.

Vivian was a devoted member of the University United Methodist Church.

Vivian's family wants to thank the staff at Lutheran Hillside Village for their loving care.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Lutheran Hillside Village in the Waters of Life Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior.

Memorial Contributions in Vivian's name may be given to The Alzheimer's Association.
