PEORIA HEIGHTS - Delores A. Wilts, 83, of Peoria Heights passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
Born July 22, 1933 to Leo and Margaret (Vandervort) LaFeber; she married Gerald Wilts in June of 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Bud and Gerald LaFeber.
Surviving is her sister, Sharon Roberts of Peoria Heights; her daughters, Teresa M. (Jeff) Stephens of Broken Arrow, OK, and Lynne A. Shepherd of Peoria, IL; her son, Michael S (Lisa) Wilts, Sr...

PEORIA HEIGHTS - Delores A. Wilts, 83, of Peoria Heights passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
Born July 22, 1933 to Leo and Margaret (Vandervort) LaFeber; she married Gerald Wilts in June of 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Bud and Gerald LaFeber.
Surviving is her sister, Sharon Roberts of Peoria Heights; her daughters, Teresa M. (Jeff) Stephens of Broken Arrow, OK, and Lynne A. Shepherd of Peoria, IL; her son, Michael S (Lisa) Wilts, Sr of Peoria Heights; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Delores retired from Coca-Cola Fountain in 1996 and decided to complete her bucket list of going on five cruises and traveling around the country making many friends. Delores was also a member of Leisure Acres Golden Agers Club as well as a long time parishioner of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights.
She graduated from Woodruff High School in 1951.
Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 pm Sunday, September 18th, preceded by a prayer service at 3:45 pm at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be at 10:00 Monday, September 19th at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights with Msgr. Jason A. Gray officiating and additional visitation from 9:00 to 9:45 am. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials are suggested to Leisure Acres Golden Agers Club.
